Description

My borough, Southwark, London, England, housed the city’s brothels in Medieval times, full of ‘fallen women’ called the Winchester Geese. The Archbishop of Winchester earned much in taxes from these women’s toil. I tried to capture a sense of mystery and atmosphere of the area as it may have been many years ago. The area where the 'stews' were is called Cross Keys.
